Angela Clive is the Principal Advisor HR for Rio Tinto’s Amrun Project and has worked in various HR roles in mining since 2005.

She began her mining career in coal with BHP Billiton in Central Queensland, and continued to work in coal in a number of locations in Victoria and New South Wales. Currently she is working in
construction and projects for Rio Tinto and is responsible for delivering effective human resources, with a strong focus on Indigenous employment on the Amrun Project, Rio Tinto’s new bauxite operation on the Cape York Peninsula.

Throughout her career, Angela has been involved in a range of inclusion and diversity initiatives for BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto, and has a strong desire to see more women have a fulfilling and engaging career in the mining and resources sector.
