Caroline Morrissey
Caroline has been a committee member since 2005 and provides support for WIMARQ through her role at the Queensland Resources Council.

She has a background in journalism, having worked on newspapers and ABC and commercial radio in Broken Hill, Perth and Brisbane, as well as a number of government relations positions, including the Queensland Department of Mines and Energy.

She began work for the Queensland Resources Council in 2001 and is currently Business Development Manager for Skills and Diversity. She manages the QRC's Women in Resources Action Plan, which she developed in 2006. The plan aims to increase the proportion of women working in the resources sector in Queensland, particularly in non-traditional roles to at least 20 percent by 2020.
