Women in Mining and Resources Queensland (WIMARQ) is saddened to hear of the passing of former Queensland Resources Council Chief Executive Michael Roche and expresses its condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. Michael was a champion of gender diversity in Queensland's resources sector and staunch supporter of the activities of WIMARQ in our shared goal of reducing the gender imbalance in the industry. He will be sorely missed.
