The QRC/WIMARQ Mentoring Program was created in response to an identified need for formal mentoring for women working in Queensland’s minerals and energy sectors as a way to improve retention and progression of
women in the industry.

Now in its eleventh year the demand for support programs targeted at women working in the resources sector is just as great.

Since its inception the QRC/WIMARQ Mentoring Program has provided career-changing opportunities to nearly 700 women working in all parts of Queensland’s resources sector.

The QRC/WIMARQ Mentoring Program provides a structured, sustainable mentoring process that supports mentees through career guidance and direction by sharing mentor/mentee experiences, developing goals and forging exceptional mentoring relationships that continue beyond the program’s duration.
