2026 Mt Isa International Women's Day Breakfast
Date - 13 Mar 2026
The Queensland Resources Council (QRC) and Women in Mining and Resources Queensland (WIMARQ) invite mining professionals and operators from across the North West to the 2026 International Women’s Day Breakfast.
This year the breakfast will see us host 250 people from across our region reaching far and wide with the theme #BalanceTheScales. We have been overwhelmed by the commitment and anticipation for another event and cannot wait to help once again facilitate the growth and empowerment for women within our area.
Sponsored by Evolution Mining, Sandvik, Glencore, Calibre Resourcing Solutions, AusIMM North West Queensland Branch and Alliance Safety Equipment, the International Women’s Day Breakfast 2026 will be held on Friday 13 March 2026 at the Mount Isa Civic Centre Auditorium to celebrate and encourage gender diversity in the mining and resources sector. This annual breakfast will feature a special Keynote speaker, as well as the chance to hear from some of our amazing sponsors.
