Events that connect, celebrate, and empower women in resources

2026 Bowen Basin Coal & Gold Gala Dinner
Date - 18 June 2026

Join us for an unforgettable evening themed “Coal and Gold”, bringing together frontline personnel, industry professionals and advocates for diversity and inclusion from across the Bowen Basin and Queensland. The night will be filled with live entertainment, opportunities to connect and network, and plenty of moments to celebrate the incredible women working across our industry.

This event will be held in Moranbah in celebration of the 2026 International Day of Women in Mining (IDWIM2026), creating a special opportunity for our regional community to come together and recognise the achievements, contributions and impact of women across the resources sector.

Guests will be entertained by local talent Noah Davis Cookson and inspired by our very own KickAss Woman – Jo Sainsbury. Gather your colleagues or friends, book a table and be part of a night to remember.
