Join Women in Mining and Resources Queensland (WIMARQ) North West Queensland for our 2026 Gala Dinner presented by Evolution Mining, an evening dedicated to celebrating the strength, resilience, talent and contribution of women across North West Queensland’s resources sector.
The Gala Dinner brings together women from across our region, alongside colleagues, advocates, allies and industry leaders, to recognise their achievements, celebrate our local resources community and strengthen the connections that make North West Queensland such a unique place to live and work.
Held at the Mount Isa Golf Club, the evening will provide an opportunity to dress up, connect, celebrate and enjoy a memorable night together.
Guests will enjoy a canapé-style dinner and drinks throughout the evening, along with entertainment, inspiring conversation, networking opportunities and plenty of moments to celebrate the incredible women of our region.
Whether you have been part of the WIMARQ community for many years or are joining us for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you for a special evening celebrating the women who continue to lead, inspire and make a difference across North West Queensland.

We are delighted to announce our Annual Brisbane Gala Dinner will be held on 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟓 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 at 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐝.
This year’s theme, 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 – 𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, will celebrate the strength, resilience, talent and contribution of women across Queensland’s resources sector.
Bringing together professionals, advocates, allies and industry leaders, the evening will be an opportunity to connect, be inspired and recognise the women who continue to shape the future of our industry.
Hosted at Blackbird Brisbane, the evening will feature Wendy Kingston as MC and special guest speaker Kate Munari, leadership expert and Australia’s only female Navy helicopter pilot to have flown in Afghanistan.
