Under the glittering lights of Victoria Park, more than 300 industry professionals came together to celebrate two decades of Women in Mining and Resources Queensland.
The 2025 WiMARQ Gala Dinner was an extraordinary evening, one that honoured the achievements, resilience, and leadership of women who have shaped, and continue to shape, Queensland’s resources sector.
A Celebration of women leading the way
Hosted by Channel 9’s Aislin Kriukelis, the evening reflected on 20 incredible years of WiMARQ from those who paved the way, to the women driving progress today, and the next generation lighting the path forward.
Guests were captivated by an inspiring keynote from Turia Pitt, whose story of resilience, strength, and purpose left a lasting impression. Her words reminded everyone in the room of the power of perseverance in overcoming challenges.
